Depending on the level of assessment, most Pre-Employment Medicals take between 30 minutes and 3 hours. As a rough guide you should allow the below time frames for different assessments:

Pre-Employment Medical = 1.5 hours
​Pre-Employment Functional = 1 hour
​Coal Board Medical = 2.5 hours
​Drug and Alcohol Test = 30 minutes
​Chest X-ray = 1 hour
​Blood Test = 30 minutes
​RTAY / QAL / BSL Site Access Medical = 2.5 hours
