Placing an Employee's Monitoring Program on Hold

This article explains how to place Health Monitoring on hold for an employee who is temporarily unavailable.

Updated over a month ago

When an employee requires their health monitoring to be paused, you need to inform us to place their monitoring program on hold. Here are the steps to follow for this process.

Step 1: Locate the Employee's File

Find and open the file for the employee. All monitoring items they are enrolled in will be displayed in the centre of the screen under the Overview section.

Step 2: Select the Health Monitoring Item

Identify the Health Monitoring item you wish to change. Use the Action button on the right-hand side and select “On Hold.”

Step 3: Confirm Details

A pop-up screen will appear. Review the details to ensure they are correct.

At this point, you can include an Additional Note indicating the reason for placing the monitoring on hold. Please specify that the monitoring is being paused temporarily.

Step 4: Confirm the Hold

To confirm that you wish to place monitoring on hold, select the orange button, “On Hold,” to proceed.

Step 5: Ensure All Monitoring Items Are On Hold

When placing an employee's monitoring on hold, you must ensure that ALL monitoring items are paused.

Important: You will need to repeat Steps 2-4 for each monitoring program that you wish to place on hold. Once completed, the employee's Health Monitoring overview should show that the status of all items is grey and indicate “On Hold.”

The employee will remain in your current list, but their monitoring will be paused until further notice.

If you wish to review the employee's file in the future, you can do so as usual, and the status will reflect that their monitoring program is currently on hold.
